Farms of Tuolumne County held its Annual Dinner Meeting on Saturday, August 12,2017 at beautiful Ponsanorosa Vineyard owned by Suzanne Cruz and Dick Todd. We enjoyed a wonderful catered meal by Dave Ingram, as well as gold ole’ bluegrass music presented by Dick Todd and his crew. One of our waiters, Tommy, joined in to sing “Old Rugged Cross” which was so beautiful everyone stopped talking to listen.
FFA Ambassador Megan Temple presented a slide show on the trip to Australia which was partially funded by FOTC as well as by Terry Arington (Ron Arington Memorial Fund). Kathryn Kellogg, FFA advisor at Don Pedro High School also addressed the group.
Suzanne Cruz stepped in for Robin Walters who had a prior commitment to speak about Feeding Our Kids and the Dream Center Project, as did Dave Ingram who has a dream to teach kids how to cook when the Dream Center is up and running.
FOTC President Mary Ulvevadet led the meeting portion. The voting members elected the new Board Members, Anna Powell and Raina DeBello and we said good-bye to Anna Judnich who has been our capable secretary for the last three years.
Raffle and door prizes prizes! Among the winners were Terry Arington who won the cow hide table runner from Joanie Gisler. Don Moore won Livia’s famous Cheesecake. Gary Stockel was a big winner with cherry pie from Deer Creek Cherry Farm, as well
as vodk liqueur from Indigeny Reserve and half case of Hurst Ranch Barbera. Penny Jelito won the canvas photo from Terry Arington. And these were just some of the prizes!
FOTC thanks all who participated. It was a wonderful evening. Y’all come see us next year!
