There was a question about preserving zucchini for the Weigh-In on Oct. 21. Here is some helpful information from UCCE Master Food Preserver Program Coordinator:

Zucchini is stored in the fridge, recommended length of time for good produce is 5 days. Don’t wash it until ready to use it.
