   What does FOTC do with your donations?

   Farms of Tuolumne County (FOTC) is a non-profit organization with an all-volunteer Board of Directors. We are financed by membership dues, our  Farm and Ranch Tour proceeds, Raffle from the FOTC Annual Dinner,  a small amount from sales of t-shirts and  and from donations from the community.

   Through the FOTC Agricultural Grant Program,  money is awarded to local youth for their agricultural  projects.

   Other expenses include the printing of the FOTC Farm and Ranch Guide, maintaining the website, the Farm and Ranch Tour, and other activities to further its members and agriculture in general throughout Tuolumne County.

   Are the donations tax deductible?

   Unfortunately, because FOTC is designated as a 501© 5, not a © 3, donations are not tax deductible.

   Farms of Tuolumne County greatly appreciates any donation you would like to make – from $5.00 on up. Know that any amount you wish to give will be used to promote local sustainable agriculture in Tuolumne County.

3. Diestel Family Turkey Ranch

   Our family began range-growing turkeys in 1949 on our ranch nestled in the Sierra Foothills. At Thanksgiving we sold our turkeys to the local folks who enjoyed a trip to our ranch each year.

   Hours: Open Seasonally in Nov. and  Dec.

   Diestel Family Ranch was founded on health, happiness and the pursuit of flavor. For over 70-years, we’ve done everything but compromise our values to thoughtfully raise and carefully craft premium, artisan-inspired turkey products worthy of America’s unyielding appetite for better, deliciously lean and clean protein. It takes a little extra effort, but it’s worth it to us to produce the best turkey you’ve ever tasted and a meal you can feel good sitting down to. Take a bite and you’ll see—it’s worth it to you, too!

   Today we produce our turkeys and turkey products year around but, really, not much has changed… same ranch, same firm belief that our family secrets consistently produce a better tender and juicy turkey that has real old-fashioned turkey flavor and same great quality.

   Feel free to come by and visit the ranch and our onsite salesroom. Regular salesroom hours are 9 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Hours vary during the holiday season. Call 209/532-4950 to confirm our salesroom hours. We always suggest calling ahead for product availability.
