    G.R.I.T. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that helps small farm animals in their time of need by providing rescue, care, fostering, and adoption services.  Types of animals we help are rabbits, chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, miniature horses and donkeys, small or potbelly pigs, and baby farm animals of all kinds.

    Beef is grass fed – raised naturally, not given hormones or fed antibiotics

    Call for appointment. Beef is available in Spring and Fall by order only (phone or e-mail) on a first-come/first-serve basis. Order before May 1. Local free delivery is available.

    Gaiser Cattle is and has been a family operation since its inception in 1918. Cattle are raised in the foothills and summered in the Sierra Nevadas. Steers are selected for their health and growth. Only the best are kept for this program.
