A breakout of infectious disease in birds in southern California has prompted Tuolumne County Agricultural Commissioner Gary Stockel to send out the following on-line information to protect your birds.

The USDA’s website has very good on-line information: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/ourfocus/animalhealth/animal-disease-information/avian-influenza-disease/vnd/!ut/p/z1/04_iUlDg4tKPAFJABpSA0fpReYllmemJJZn5eYk5-hH6kVFm8X6Gzu4GFiaGPu6uLoYGjh6Wnt4e5mYG7mam-l5gjQj9IBPw64iA6oAqh1P6kUZFvs6-6fpRBYklGbqZeWn5-hFleSn6BdlRkQDKFRsj/

CDFA’s site seems easier to navigate and includes the quarantine location/requirements plus the USDA Backyard Biosecurity brochure: https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/ahfss/Animal_Health/Newcastle_Disease_Info.html

We are open daily from 10am-5pm, offering tastings of an array of hard ciders and spirits made from the organic apples harvested on our 160-acre ranch. The grounds invite visitors to host events such as weddings, private parties, and more. Guests can come enjoy a picnic, u-pick during apple season, hiking, biking. Live music and food trucks are onsite on weekends. Take the journey to find our oasis, explore the grounds with a cider in hand, come out to celebrate, share and renew nature’s bounty.

NOTE:  Indigeny hosts its Fall Festival every Saturday in October.
